A wise man once said, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” In fact, many a wise-guy has made this claim in his lifetime, but I like to take this statement from time to time and re-shape it into the following: Supposition is the Mother of Invention.
What I mean by this (and going ahead and diving into the meat of this subject, I’m going to tie it in with UFOs early on) is that many scientists over the last several decades, based on what they observe in science fiction, have created advanced scientific instrumentation which not only mirrored fiction, but helped make it into fact. For instance, in the fiction of authors like Arthur C. Clark, technologically advanced apparatus like radio communications satellites, video conferencing, and “smart” machines were all incorporated prior to their design and practical use in the modern world. Along these same lines, a handful of physicists have been also looking at reports of UFOs and trying to figure out how they operate, based on witness testimony.
I received an email from Gralien Report correspondent Marvin Bishop today that mentioned Harold E. Puthoff, an American physicist known for his “alternative” approaches to gravitational physics, general relativity, and quantum mechanics which often involve things commonly referred to as paranormal.
I’ve seen this video making the rounds lately on Youtube and other popular video sites. Now, here for your enjoyment, is a link to the popular “CCTV 8-foot tall alien” video that resulted in three police cars responding to a sighting of a large creature walking the streets of Bournemouth, UK.
That’s no joke: as reported yesterday by the San Francisco Chronicle, the Martian lander has detected snowflakes falling from the skies above the red planet:
Scientists studying the coded signals from the lander Phoenix on the planet’s arctic surface detected the snow falling lightly from clouds drifting across the sky some 2 1/2 miles above the spacecraft, said James Whiteway, an atmospheric scientist from York University in Canada.
“Nothing like this has ever been seen on Mars before,” he said.
So one must ask; if indeed snow can fall on the red planet, then how soon until Hell DOES freeze over? Probably not until the evil Deros that live in Earth’s center finally perfect the cold fusion devices they plan to implement in their plans for world domination…
Stevenage, Croydon, Wrexham, Barnoldswick, Chorley… what do all these towns have in common? It’s simple: they are all towns in the UK where UFOs have been reported in the last 24 hours.
Granted, a couple of these are actually the locations where recent UFO sightings have turned out to be fakes, like Barnoldswick, where strange lights witnessed recently turned out to be merely “floating lanterns”. Still, the fact remains that the majority of the news about UFOs appearing in the media lately has to do with sightings in the skies over England. I finally found one story which was indeed reported by a US paper, the McDowell News (based out Marion, N.C. of all places… this is within 50 miles of where I live). But wait, then there’s the title of the piece: “Britain has its own Roswell incident.” Wow.
As a result, many British celebrities are coming forward stating that they believe in UFOs, including singer Robbie Williams, as well as Jennifer Ellison, winner of the “Rear of the Year” award, as reported by The Sun. Why is there so much UFO activity in England this year? Are there really extraterrestrials buzzing Big Ben, or are bored teenagers merely having a go with these ever-popular “Chinese lanterns”?
