As a member of the US office of the UK-Based Center for Fortean Zoology (headed here in the states by my colleague Nick Redfern), I had to share this unique couple of posts with readers of The Gralien Report. Over at the UFO Mystic blog, Nick recently commented on an interesting study in how strange phenomenon seems often to be associated with landmarks like bridges. In fact, the legendary British “Man-Monkey” for which Redfern is well known was often seen near a bridge as well, and thanks to research provided by Raven, our CFZ Rep for the state of Michigan, we now have a variety of perspectives on this unusual consistency linking weird activity to bridges and the like.

Bridging the Unknown

Here’s the link to Raven’s post in its entirety over at her blog, Into the Shadows:

Knock-knock Bridge

In addition to strange activity being linked to bridges, I’ve often heard that chimneys and other man-made structures and fortifications often seem to serve as “strange attractors” of sorts (not the same as the kind discussed in physics though, all you string-theorists out there)!
