On the latest edition of The Gralien Report Podcast, we discussed a recent news story detailing a series of UFO-related claims made by a gentleman named Lieutenant Colonel Richard French. Having also been one of the testimonial witnesses at the recent Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure held in Washington, DC, French can be seen in the video above discussing his position as an official “debunker” for Project Blue Book, the US Air Force’s UFO inquiry that took place throughout the 1950s and 60s. French, while at the event, would recount seeing two submerged UFO craft, which he claimed to view during an oceanside incident that allegedly took place more than half a century ago off the east coast of Newfoundland, Canada.
However, there are many who question French’s claims, and wonder what role the man actually played in the history of UFO inquiry for Project Blue Book decades ago. Thus, following our discussion of the man’s recent testimony in Washington on this week’s show, we decided to dig a bit deeper into the life and work of Richard French, and see if any other information could be found.
Indeed, there were some rather curious leads that we managed to turn up, which deal with everything from government conspiracies and Men in Black, to John Keel and the infamous “Mothman” of West Virginia. So who is Richard French, and what has his role been in the ongoing story of UFOs over America?
