A revolution is brewing… from within the depths of the Hollow Earth! That’s right, the winds of change have been blowing across the dark plains of the Moho Discontinuity this week, and Micah and Co. report live as a Hadal uprising takes place within the cavernous corridors right outside the friendly Gralien Bunker. Despite the inner-earth turmoil going on outside the studio, the Gralien crew manages to bring you, as always, the very latest in the strange and unusual during this special cryptozoology edition of the program. Topics include sea monsters, Mothman, discussion of the famous “Shaver Mystery” (serving as a historical spotlight of the events preceding the present Hadal rebellion currently underway), Fortean Folk Devils and much more. Don’t miss it!

  1. Dude, where are my shownotes? :-/

Re. the adenovirus story, I think it’s not appropriate to describe it as the first virus that jumped from animals to humans and then to other humans

  2. Hey RPJ,

Yeah, we discussed making that connection with AIDS and chimpanzees too, although I held off because I was uncertain about the relationship between how the virus had been passed to humans (I had misunderstood some studies involving the use of chimpanzee organs in tests with vaccines for known viruses, though my recollection of this is shady at best). However, looking back, it is indeed thought that early passage of the disease from chimps to humans may have occurred as far back as around 1910!

Yeah, sorry, I didn’t link show notes this week, did I? I’m no good, amigo… but I’ll do better next time! LOL!

  3. i must say that i have not ever liked listening to a talk show but im going to have to listen to you guys weekly. Very interesting topics.
