This week on the Gralien Report Podcast… why was a huge collection of UFO audio tapes, dating back to 1947, trashed out in California? The owner of those tapes, Dave Aaron, joins us to discuss his strange (and tragic) situation. We’re also joined by one of the world’s foremost experts in artificial intelligence, Ben Goertzel PhD (above), live from Hong Kong for a serious discussion about humanity’s future.

Goertzel, an adviser to The Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence, may be the most likely candidate for being the first to implement a functional artificial intelligence using computer science in the near future. Given so many of the doomsday predictions going on out there relating to Earth “after the machines take over,” is it fair to say that Goertzel is one of the most dangerous men in the world? We certainly don’t think so… and you’ll learn why on this latest edition of the show (see below for show notes).
And finally, some of our inspiration in article form… and maybe at least one not-so-inspiring piece of “journalism.”
