PS: Thinking about encounters with Golem-type entities, it’s hard to come up with something better than the famous Pascagoula aliens.
Hello Graliens! Excellent show, as usual. I wish to comment on the idea of synthetic meat products. I will reveal that I am a vegetarian, and have chosen such a life due to personal philosophical musings. As such, the idea of synthetic meat is very appealing.
However, I am also aware of the notion that at this time in history, the world is one big lab experiment. For example, a few categories of substances we are exposed to include: pesticides, GM foods; antibiotics (in the water supply); secondary exhaust particles, xeno-estrogens from any number of sources (e.g. plastics), and a whole host of other man-made environmental assaults.
It’s no wonder we have seen a dramatic rise in certain syndromes that include many non-specific symptoms that cannot be associated with particular sets of environmental paramaters. At this time, the medical community is not equipped to accurately diagnose multi-factorial diseases whose etiologies are a mystery, much less treat anything more than symptoms. (Many examples of this phenomenon are demonstrated in the category of autoimmune disorders)
With this in mind, I am wary of synthetic meat products. I do some protein purification in my work, and I can tell you that even one amino acid change in a protein that is hundreds of amino acids long, can drastically change its properties. Meats are an “amalgamation” of many many different kinds of proteins. Without going further, I think you comprehend my concerns.
Since the invention of fire, when hasn’t the world being one big lab experiment?
I’m sure this question has been asked (and answered) many times, but can anyone PLEASE tell me if there’s any listing of the music used on your show (especially the theme tune). It’s all ***-kicking awesome!

The theme song is actually a piece of music I composed especially for the show… I’ve also included a listing of the music featured on the show with the post for this week’s edition of the program, much of which is produced in-house by the creative and gifted staff here at Gralien International.
