According to Wikipedia, Williams is a Number 1 selling Solo Recording Artist, having formerly been a member of boy band Take That, with whom he began his career in 1990. He left Take That in 1995 and launched a solo career, after selling 25 million records with the group. His album sales stand at over 55 million, with singles sales over 17 million. His late night love affair with researching the UFO phenomenon, as well as whis tight schedule with his new recording project, were cited among reasons for the breakup.

In other news, somehow my girlfriend still puts up with my own obsession with UFOs, as well as my ridiculously busy schedule these days! Still, I may have to consider putting off recording that solo album any time soon…
