The news website Australia.to posted a frighteningly good UFO photograph yesterday, depicting what appears to be a black helicopter chasing an object reminiscent of other famous UFO photos from days past. Below is a link to the article, as well as a photograph:

From time to time, it seems that fascinating photographs are presented, and then subsequently forgotten. In this age of (fake) drones and digital renderings of everything from Chupacabras to Nessie, it seems like fewer people show appreciation for the often vague, yet strangely sublime photos we see from time to time of blurry UFOs buzzing around. Personally, though I concur with Mr. Keel that “belief is the enemy”, I am duly impressed with the photo linked above. However, it’s not the only recent photo I find impressive…

Another fascinating photograph I had the pleasure of coming across seems to depict a triangular craft photographed over Stephenville Texas during the height of the UFO flap that took place there months ago (see photo below). This strange object appears to show three faint greenish illuminations, indicating the three corners of the triangle, halfway down the image and about two inches from the far right edge. Two anomalous orange “globes” can be seen drifting upward toward the craft itself, and are the more prominent features in the photo. The image was recieved by an associate of mine from an individual claiming to be a peace officer on patrol in the area the same evening many of the inital reports took place. It was subsequently posted on the L.E.M.U.R. discussion forums, and once it appeared, it was brought t my attention (as I am an investigator with L.E.M.U.R since 2004). I even looked over it with my friend and fellow researcher, Steve Hammons, live on the air while I guest hosted the radio program Speaking of Strange for my pal Joshua P. Warren. Hammons, who followed the events in Stephenville closely for UFO Digest, even found the image to be of intrigue.  

The account that accompanied the photo on the L.E.M.U.R. forums, which I blogged about a few months ago, went as follows:

“When we approached the location we saw intense redish lights ahead.
As we came closer they were bright and plasma like, just above
the ground and very large.  The balls of light reacted to us when we
were about 1000 feet from their location and moved skyward at a very
high rate of speed.  I was in my car looking upwards and it was then
I saw a triangle shaped object high over my head.  The orbs
or plasma balls were moving upwards towards the triangle object.  The
triangle object was also moving upwards at a high rate of speed. 
The orbs were moving faster and joined up with the triangle. I had a
camera in the car and reached over and grabbed it.  I took 5 photos
towards this area of the sky with the flash off. Of the 5 photos this
is the only one that was clear.  You will see the 2 orbs and triangle
object.  By the time this photo was taken they had already moved very
high above my location and were almost about out of visible sight. 
There is video of the lights as we approached and the plasma like balls
on the ground but am not in a position to share this. I hope this photo
will serve of some use in your investigation.  I do not believe what I
saw had anything to do with any type of secret military type technology
else I would not have sent you this photo.”

Could it be that this is the real thing? Again, with no actual evidence to back it up, I take it for what I know it to be; an interesting possibility. Who knows what kinds of interesting images may present themselves in the future… or maybe we’ll recieve the “ultimate honor”, and have one of these “drones” go skating across the sky over our homes in broad daylight!
