High strangeness is surely afoot on this Walpurgis night!

Today, May 1st 2008, marks the day my friend, fellow researcher and  partner in crime Joshua P. Warren is announcing the release of his ground-breaking new film Inside The Church of Satan. You can learn all about this film, purchase DVD copies or even download a streaming copy at the film’s brand-spanking new website:

Having researched all aspects of this strange world around us since his teens, Joshua cashed in on a very special “inside” offer to film a documentary about the Church of Satan, extended to him late last year by none other than Peter H. Gilmore, head of the church itself. Joshua’s film details his strange journey into a distant country where he documented the customs, beliefs, and truth behind one of the most mysterious (and notorious) religions ever known.

Having seen the film at a private screening at Josh’s place (and being a devout Christian myself), I can honestly say that I found Joshua’s film to be as entertaining as it is uplifting (yes, I said uplifting)! Overall, the film conveys a very unexpected, non-stereotypical look at a group of people who have carved their own niche into this world, and with the inclusion of a few hilarious surprises, Inside the Church of Satan is a masterful documentary made by a man who captured the essence of those being interviewed without sacrificing his own ideals and beliefs (Warren is a professed agnostic). That being said, people from all walks of life can (and will) enjoy this film; it is clearly Josh’s best-to-date.

Cheers!
