This video clip has appeared on Youtube (apparently having been posted March 9th), detailing a low resolution clip of a “transparent humanoid” which locals in Veracruz, Mexico, claim tried to attack them:

It is unclear whether this is supposed to be an actual video of the entity, or if this is a recreation based on what the witness described. Either way, the video looks pretty bad, and I have to say it’s reminiscent of some of the other clips floating around out there, including those depicting alleged “Chupacabras” available on the net. I include it with today’s roundup due to the fact that it does, due to its location, have at least something to do with other Latin American oddities discussed in previous Gralien Report entries, like Monterrey’s Witches and the glowing “gnome” of Argentina.
To me however, it seems that CGI and computer editing systems have reached a point where, conveniently, people can now make almost-believable videos of paranormal oddities on an inexpensive consumer level. I still admire, to an extent, the patience that must go into working so hard to create hoaxes of this sort, just to get a reaction. As I type this, there are folks out there still investigating the infamous “Chad and Rajman Drones” from last summer… obviously, somebody must be paying attention!
