At the first of a two-night residency performance at Wembley Stadium in the UK, space-rockers Muse put on a spectacular show last night that included the appearance of gigantic metallic UFO that hovered over the crowd, complete with a silver-clad “alien” (see video from the event below):
NME.com described last night’s stellar event with intergalactic gusto: “Flying from behind their giant hexagonal stage set, the UFO flew over the stadium before an acrobat spun around dropping silver glitter over the crowd.” The massive inflatable UFO had previously blocked signal reception at a performance at Germany’s Rock AM Ring festival, preventing a live performance of thrash-rock powerhouse Slayer from being broadcast by MTV. Muse will perform its second performance this evening.
