The incredible video above features a live segment, appearing on Fox News, that discusses a mysterious series of objects filmed hovering beneath the Space Shuttle Atlantis. The objects were first noticed during what was described by a NASA spokesperson as a routine check on the Shuttle’s steering jets.
In an official statement, Space Shuttle Program Manager Wayne Hale stated that, “Over the years we have chased (many) of these things, maybe not with the visibility that this one has gotten, and rarely if ever (have) been able to pinpoint exactly where they came from.” Hale also notes, however, that the objects, whatever they are, “didn’t pose us any hazard.”
The Shuttle made its final historic flight in July of this year. The identity or cause of the mysterious objects featured in the clip above remains unexplained, although NASA’s acknowledgment of the phenomenon alone remains noteworthy.
