Above is the trailer for a new film called Battle: Los Angeles, in which advanced extraterrestrials invade Earth (hey, now that’s a new concept). The imagery evokes memories of Independence Day, Signs, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and a host of other “evil aliens invade Earth and get their butts whipped by the U.S. Military” flicks. This one is, however, a little unique, since the film may have been inspired by true events.
