I kid. Maloney is a very good guest, and he makes a compelling case about the incidence of UFOs during times of war.
Having said that, my iconoclastic self does wonder if MAYBE it’s the other way around: whether in times of deep turmoil and social crisis people are more susceptible to perceiving things that are always there.
Or maybe that, following Dr Barry Taff’s research, certain human beings (coupled with sites charged with geomagnetic energy) act as ‘bio-capacitors’ allowing these phenomena to manifest, specially during moments of deep emotional stress
